  • Circa 1920
  • Silver-plated maillechort
  • Soldered toneholes
  • Pointed arms
  • Open hole
  • Inline G
  • C-foot
  • Sounding length: 600 mm
  • 408 grams

Pads are in very good condition with very little wear, which suggests the pads were replaced. The flute was then played for a while and left in its case for several years before we received it on consignment. The flute is playable in its current condition. However, if it’s intended for daily use, the flute could eventually use an adjustment to bring out its best in response and articulation, especially in the lower register.

The intonation is consistent with a traditional scale at A=440 Hz with the headjoint pulled out 1/8″-1/4″. The headjoint is unmarked. Sound-wise, the flute offers a slightly textured sound with flexibility.
