This handmade flute has the glow and lyricism that characterized flutes from the Haynes “Golden Era.” It’s responsive and agile, and the tonal sound quality transfers smoothly in all registers. Incidentally, Jean-Pierre Rampal played on a Haynes flute for much of his career. His gold Haynes flute, 29333, was made two months after this flute, 29143, was made. Much of the brilliance and fluidity you hear in Rampal’s playing can be heard in this flute as well.
The pads are in good condition, and the flute has been cleaned and adjusted. This flute has been well cared for and is in great condition.
