Wooden headjoint with a metal tenon. The year of manufacture and type of wood are unknown.
This flute has a nearly round embouchure to provide a very fine wooden flute sound without the need to upgrade to a baroque flute. We’ve tried this headjoint on many thin-walled flutes with success. So far, we haven’t found a flute that isn’t able to receive it. However, a small bit of tape on the tenon was required for a snug fit on some flutes. Traveling case (shown below) is included.
