The tenon has an inner tube of 11.80 mm O.D. and 11.04 mm I.D. (bore). The outer part of the tenon (the part that covers the cork area of the body) is 15.75 mm I.D. The socket is 19.70 mm deep and the inner tube is recessed 3.70 mm from the face of the tenon end. Not all Powell piccolos have the same tenon dimensions.
